1. Understand what the free plan includes
SellyHub's free plan lets you create a store without topping up your wallet and has no expiry under the current service model. You have a storefront and a management area to begin preparing products and handling orders. One account can have multiple stores, each with its own information and state. Read the capabilities and quotas shown when selecting a plan so you understand the actual allowance.
No expiry means the free plan has no recurring service billing period; it does not mean unlimited resources or exemption from platform policies. The free service still has usage limits and conditions. If the platform temporarily pauses new store creation, wait for the displayed availability to change. Do not create duplicate accounts or send the same request repeatedly to try to move ahead in the queue.
2. Prepare your store name, email and first products
Use an email account you can access and keep the owner account's password securely. Your store name should be easy to read and distinct enough to avoid confusion with other stores. The website name must use the format allowed by the system and pass its availability check. Do not use a game name or trademark in a way that implies an official store unless you have permission to do so.
Prepare as many products as you can check carefully. Each listing needs an image, a description, a price and delivery conditions, alongside a real contact channel. If you are not ready to sell, use this stage to finish the information first. You do not need many categories at launch. For game accounts and other digital products, check the provider's terms and your right to transfer the item before listing it.
- An accessible owner email and a unique password
- A store name and website name that reflect your brand
- Images and details for products you are allowed to sell
- Contact information, delivery conditions and support instructions
3. Register, choose a plan and follow the store status
Register and enter your account area. Choose to create a website, review the free plan, set a website name and read the summary before confirming. Once the request is accepted, follow its status in My websites until the store is ready. A free store does not require a wallet top-up. If your preferred name is unavailable, choose another memorable name rather than adding a string of characters that customers may mistype.
An accepted request and a finished store are different states. Work may be queued or require an operator's review. While a store is not ready, read the status message and use the displayed support channel. Do not assume the website is available just because you clicked the button. When the store management area opens, set your store information and confirm that the public pages display it correctly.
4. Keep your storefront and management records consistent
Customers need understandable products and buying instructions, while your management area should tell you what is available and which orders need attention. Before adding many promotional images, check the store name, contact details, prices and product availability. These details directly affect buying decisions. Use images that remain clear on a phone and keep essential information in readable page text as well.
Test the journey with data separated from real customers. Check that product pages do not expose account access details, that order summaries show the right price, and that messages after purchase explain the next step. Prepare a process for pending reviews and complaints. If you collect personal information, collect only what is necessary and restrict access. Do not publish customer order details in promotional material.
5. Separate the website plan from your store's other costs
The free website plan lowers the cost of getting started, but your store may still have product costs, a domain you purchase, advertising or payment-channel fees. These depend on the external providers and services you choose. A free website does not make every external service free. Read their conditions and record actual costs when deciding how to price your products.
You can begin with an address under a platform-managed domain without buying a brand domain immediately. If you later want your own address, you must own the domain, access its DNS settings and complete verification. Connecting a domain does not grant ownership of its registration. Keep track of renewal dates and who controls the registration so your store retains the name customers recognize.
6. Upgrade for a need you have measured
Start with a plan that meets today's work and record the limits you actually encounter, such as media space, resource needs or an additional capability. Compare those needs with the current plan details. A more expensive plan does not automatically bring more buyers. Products, clear information, trust and customer support still influence whether a store succeeds.
Before changing plans, read the price summary, request status and conditions. If review or resource movement is required, follow the request until the system confirms completion and keep working according to the current store status. If the free plan meets your needs, continue using it within its current limits. Starting free gives you a way to organize your store and learn its real requirements before adding cost.
